Fred Hammerstein, chairman of the Board

Mr. A. Hammerstein is an internal advisor at Van Swaaij Cassatie & Consultancy. Before that, he held many legal positions within the judiciary. He was, among other things, a councillor in the Supreme Court, President of the Arnhem Court of Appeal and a state councillor in extraordinary service in the Administrative Jurisdiction Division of the Council of State. Fred Hammerstein has also fulfilled many social functions. From 2011 to 2016 he was chairman of the Board of Kifid.

Bas de Groot, secretary

Bas de Groot has been director of ‘de landelijke inloopkamer”‘ at the Judiciary since 2020. ‘De landelijke inloopkamer’  is a facility that supports the courts and tribunals in shortening turnaround times in civil and criminal cases. Before his appointment as director, he held various leadership positions within the Judiciary. Before joining the Judiciary, Bas de Groot held various (ad interim) management positions and was general director of the Financial Services Complaints Institute (Kifid).
Bas studied law (civil law) at Utrecht University. He then followed courses at the Nyenrode Business University and the Dutch School of Public Administration. In addition to his work, Bas is vice-chairman of the Association of Professional Football Referees (BSBV) and a member of the Advisory Committee on Disciplinary Law for Professional Football.

 

Sanna Jordens, treasurer

Sanna Jordens is Group Manager Integrity & Compliance at Royal De Heus. After her studies at The Hague University of Applied Sciences, with a specialization in European political administrative level, she held various positions in general legal services. After her law studies at the University of Leiden, she specialized more in the field of Integrity and Compliance. After completing her post-academic training in behavioral change, in recent years she has mainly focused on behavior and behavioral change within her functions.
